Our health is our greatest asset and sport, recreation and exercise are all essential ingredients to a healthy life, but sadly these seem to be taking a back seat as lives get busier and technology becomes the leading form of entertainment. We want to get the world off the couch one sport at a time and, hopefully, educate and inspire these and future generations to adopt and maintain a long, healthy and active life.

Why did the Browns choose 50 Sports in 50 Weeks?
Paul is turning 50 in October 2014. Jacqui is already 50 years young, but neither is showing any sign of slowing down anytime soon, and that’s all due to them living a (busy) life that involves participation in sports and exercise. They want the same for their son Ben, but realise he is growing up in a world focused around fast foods, video games and social media. 50 Sports in 50 Weeks will enable Ben to try a wide variety of sporting activities to see which he enjoys the most and, along the way, teach him the valuable lesson that it does not matter what you do, as long as you always do something. A lesson all kids, teenagers and adults could equally benefit from.
Throughout the 50 Weeks, the Browns will be delivering free community seminars, workshops and lectures, but they will also fundraise along the way at major events, key seminars and through the generous support of sponsors and partners. The proceeds raised will go towards buying sports equipment and funding coaching clinics for disadvantaged and under-resourced kids all over the world.
Anyone and everyone can become involved with 50 Sports in 50 Weeks. Click here to register your interest or to find out more.
