You can hear the bagpipes, it just has to be time for the Highland Games and nothing can be more iconic in sport than to don a Kilt and toss a Caber on the grassy knolls of Scotland. This week the 50 Sports in 50 Weeks crew travel to the north west coast of olde Scotland to the picturesque city of Oban to train with a true giant of the sport, Andrew Johnston.
Throughout the week the Brown family will learn a wide range of disciplines that make up the games and then on the weekend they will compete in the famous Lorne Highland Games. In between events the family will visit local schools and share their “Get it Right” message to encourage the young Scots to take good care of themselves.
